At the head of the group is a minister who has removed his hat and is bowing to the Great Elector, rendering the homage and the gratitude of the group. The elderly gentleman stepping down from the sedan chair is David Ancillon. The reception of the Huguenots in Potsdam took place on 10. November 1685.
